When we launched our website three years ago, we hoped to accomplish several things...
We feel these goals have been accomplished.
2007 was a great year for our family, and our mares. New goals were set, and the 2008 show season could not get here soon enough for us! However, sometimes God has other plans.
2008 was a year plagued with personal illnesses that limited our time with our horses and our opportunities for showing them.
When things settled down in 2009, we began looking for a trainer who could build on the pleasure training our mares received at Patton Quarter Horses. The search for an all around trainer would prove to be more difficult than we ever imagined!
In the fall of 2009, we made the decision to further Tahnee's western training at 5 "O" Stables in Darien, WI. During the year Tahnee spent in training with Ed and Sandy Anderson, she was schooled in pattern classes and discipline rail. The problem with Darien, WI is that it's about 13 hours from Lost Acres. Travel for shows was extensive, expensive, and difficult. Practicing between shows, was nearly impossible.
